Dazed

A catch-all status representing pain, confusion, surprise, stumbling, etc. Dazed characters are mostly passive and subject to many disadvantages:

  • They incur a -1 penalty to Melee Defense and many tasks.
  • They don't receive a Complex Action or Melee Action.
  • They can use their Quick Action/s only in order to perform Free Actions.
  • They cannot Evade Missiles.
  • They can only do a Short Move as Movement, and only by spending a Quick Action during their Active Movement Phase.

Already Dazed characters become Wounded if Dazed as a result of Damage.

Dazed status can be indicated with a blue marker or by tuning a threefold upside down.

Recovery

During the Morale Phase, Dazed characters roll for recovery:

DR + Morale (Leadership bonus applies)
   + Level//2
   - 2 if Wounded
   - 3
Result Effect
<= 0 still Dazed, roll again next Morale Phase
1-3 Undazed, but all CA and QA spent
4+ Undazed, no further punishment
